Does enabling file and print sharing work?
Action:
1) Click 'File and Print Sharing...'. (The 'File and Print Sharing' dialog box appears.)

2) Select the 'I want to be able to give others access to my files' check box.
3) Select the 'I want to be able to allow others to print to my printer(s)' check box.
4) Click 'OK'. (The 'Network' dialog box reappears.)
5) Click 'OK'. (The 'System Settings Change' dialog box appears.)
6) Click 'Yes' to restart the computer immediately.
NOTE 1: File and print sharing will not be in effect until you restart the computer.
NOTE 2: Make sure you save all unsaved files before restarting the computer.
7) Try sharing the folder again.
